Heathers the Musical

Heather's the Musical was a production that I costumed for the Theater Club, Rabbit Hole Theater Company, at The University of Redlands. Being that it was a club production, the budget was minimal. I was given a total of $500 to create a distinctive image of the late 80s with some iconic costumes, well known from the film. The most significant difficulty here was that the director thought that I would magically find all the perfect pieces in the University's costume stock or for cheap at thrift stores, but of course, that was not the case. It was a great exercise of budgeting and making it work with what we had at our fingertips.
